About Us

The QBE Farmers Union Insurance Agency in Casselton, ND, was started by our father, Milton Waslien, in 1968. Milton retired in 1993.

Bob Waslien joined the agency right out of NDSCS in 1973. Dick started his insurance career in the Wahpeton QBE Farmers Union Agency in 1978, after teaching and coaching in Minnesota for ten years. Upon Milt's retirement in 1993, Dick then joined Bob in the Casselton Agency. They have a combined 65 years of insurance experience between them.

Wasliens have been in the Casselton/Cass County area for the last 56 years.

Scott Cramer started with the Agency in July 2009. He is very excited to be a part of such a successful organization as QBE Farmers Union Insurance and part of a top notch agency as the Waslien Agency. Scott lives in Casselton, is married with two children. His wife Stacey works at Central Cass school and his two girls are ages 14 and 11.
