About Us

I've worn a lot of hats in my life. A builder. A business owner. A father and a husband.  Each hat has taught me the lessons of life and given me a real world experience and background that I continue to use today as an agent for QBE Farmers Union Insurance.  

I grew up on a farm outside Bonesteel, South Dakota and graduated from Bonesteel-Fairfax High School. After high school, I attended South Dakota State University and that transpired into a  career in the construction industry providing me with an extensive background in the building and underground utility trades. I was previously a business owner before a change of careers and entering the insurance industry.

My wife, Kristin,  is employed at Sanford Hospital. We have three children, Jakob, Wyatt, and Allie. I take joy in spending my personal time with the family.

My children have a lot of interest in hockey, soccer, baseball, scouting, camping, fishing and hunting. We tend to spend a lot of time enjoying sports, outdoor activities and family outings. I am involved with Scouting, coaching youth sports and officiating high school football.

With a small town, South Dakota background and my experience in the construction business, I have applied my knowledge to determine the proper coverage for your needs, no matter what changes may occur.

I am currently located on the southern part of Sioux Falls, near 77th and Minnesota Avenue. I am joined by agents Tracy Skuza and Nate Welch, and together we are managed by Curt Soehl.
