Community Activities

Divide County is a Hunter’s Haven. Our landscape is ideal for waterfowl, deer, and even moose. Many visitors come to our community and enjoy our hospitality and beautiful scenery. Our friendly people and loaded activity calendar has something for everyone.

The small community of Crosby is always bustling with activity.  The Simonson/Huwe Agency supports many of these community functions throughout the year.  As a Crosby Chamber of Commerce member, our agency supports our local events and businesses.  You'll often find the staff of the Simonson/Huwe Agency volunteering their time and supporting youth activities as well as county-wide special events.

Some of the highlights of the past year has been:

• NDHSAA-  We are proud to be a Premier Partner for the Young Athletes of North Dakota
• The Divide County Fair- This annual event often includes Derby Cars and of course, rhubarb recipe contests.
• Crosby Country Club's Annual Ag Open Tournament-  Crosby's golf course is a beautiful 9-hole course set on Long Creek.
• The Northwest Horseman's Annual Show- Held in Ambrose, ND
• Crosby Comets Youth Hockey Club

Our agency also sponsors an annual National Safety Council defensive driver course.  This course will qualify participants for discounts on their auto insurance policies.
