About Us

Our Agency has been serving Williston and the surrounding area since 1943. Jerry got his start in North Dakota Insurance Expert1979, after following in his father-in-laws footsteps. Sjon started in the insurance business in 1996, after deciding to follow in his father, Jerry’s, footsteps. You might say meeting peoples' insurance needs is the family business. The decision for us to pursue careers in the insurance industry was an easy one. We both like what we do and enjoy the people we work with. Williston is a great community in which to live and raise a family.

The Zunich Agency is committed to service. We want to get to know our clients as best we can, to help provide them products to meet their needs. In addition to our professional roles, we conduct many informational meetings, and serve in a number of voluntary capacities in and around the Williston area.
 
The teaching profession brought Jerry to Williston in 1969 where he taught school at Williston Junior High School until 1979. He and his wife Carol have raised three sons here.
 

North Dakota Insurance ExpertSjon is a Williston native. After graduating from The University of North Dakota in 1996, he joined his father in business at the insurance agency. Sjon has always loved Northwestern North Dakota. He is married to Lisa, and together they have 2 children.

The Zunich Agency has four staff members. Jerry and Sjon are the licensed agents and they have two customer service representatives to assist them. Sam Arnold has worked with the Zunich’s since 1997, as a dedicated CSR. She is instrumental in helping Jerry and Sjon provide the best customer service to their clients. Carol Zunich has worked for Jerry and Sjon since 1999. Carol makes sure the books balance at the end of the day. She is also dedicated to the family business and takes pride in her work.
 
Our office is located at 123 Second Street West in Williston, ND. If you are familiar with the downtown area, we are located just across the street from Horizon Resources.
