About Us
I started in the insurance business, officially in August of 1993. I left a short lived Civil Engineering career and decided to become an agent after the death of my dad who had run this agency in Garrison since 1968.
What makes our agency different is stability and the fact that our family has lived, worked and volunteered our time in Garrison since 1968. We have numerous clients that we have protected for that entire time span.
My dad worked for a short time as an agent in Minot. He relocated our family to Garrison in 1968 after an agency opening there. After graduating from Garrison High School in 1983, I attended North Dakota State University in Fargo where I graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor Science degree in Civil Engineering. I relocated to the Minneapolis area after college where I worked for an engineering consulting firm until 1993 when I moved back to Garrison.
I have been married since 1994 and have 2 beautiful, blonde daughters. My wife has been a teacher in the White Shield School District since about 1995.

Our office is located on Main Street and Central Avenue in Garrison where it has been since 1968. We are in a 2 story red brick building which was built over 100 years ago and is one of the original landmark buildings still standing in Garrison. We are across the street from the City Auditorium and diagonally to the Southwest of S&J Hardware, another Main Street anchor business.
