Eric R. Scalzo, CLCS, Agent

Born in Casper, my family lived in Bairoil and Manderson, Wyoming.  I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a double BA in Secondary Social Studies Education and Elementary Education. After college, I taught middle school science and math in Meeteetse, Wyoming and then seventh grade science and social studies in La Jara, Colorado.

In 1997, I made a career move to become Director of Operations for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the San Luis Valley. Four years later, I moved back to Wyoming as Executive Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Campbell County. After another four years, I had the opportunity to enter the insurance industry.

I received my Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation at the Hartford School of Insurance, in Hartford, Connecticut and was a Commercial Lines Account Executive for a year. Then I was offered my own agency with QBE Farmers Union. My time with this company has been extremely enjoyable giving me the opportunity to offer high quality insurance products, from extremely reputable carriers.

I married Deanna in 2000 and we have two sons, Jasen, 16 and Gibson, 6.

I spend my free time playing the guitar, golfing, reading about the American Civil War, and following the Pittsburgh Steelers.
