My road to the insurance business actually started in college with a chance meeting with a group of guys that needed an additional roommate while we were attending Kansas State University. A year later my roommate was hired by a large agency in Concordia KS and couple months later gave me call to see if I would be interested in coming to work for them as a full time agent.  That was January of 1988 and I have been involved in the insurance industry ever since.

My wife, Rhonda and I moved to Clay Center in 1990. My wife was excited to be moving back to her home town and close to her family. Over the next 12 years my insurance career was focused in the claims area, until an opportunity arose to be apart of QBE Farmers Union Insurance Agency in Clay Center. Since December of 2003 we have strived to bring the right coverage, right pricing and the right customer service to our clients.

Being in a rural community also means being a part of the community. We are not just here to sell insurance but to be a part of this great community of Clay Center, Kansas. I have the privilege of being involved in our rural church, Clay Center Chamber of Commerce, the Clay County Football Association for youth, youth baseball program and the Clay Center Rotarian organization as well as being involved with the high school Future Farmers of America chapter and the Orange & Black Pack booster club.

With 21 years of insurance experience as an agent, claims supervisor, property and casualty field adjuster and now as an agent for QBE Farmers Union Insurance, my skill set is one that handles just about any insurance related situation that a person may encounter.
