About Us

Born and raised on a ranch North of Newell was my initiation into the ranching way of life in Northwest South Dakota.  Even though I no longer actively ranch full time, I have always had great empathy and admiration for the people who do it for a living.  It has always been my goal to serve these folks with the best insurance products and service that I can provide.  Since 1990, I have adhered to that policy and I have gained many good clients and many more great friends because of it.

South Dakota Insurance

I run a one-man shop in Buffalo, SD but if service is needed quickly, I utilize the QBE Farmers Union Service Center.  The Service Center is staffed by two very capable and hardworking Customer Service Representatives who share my desire to furnish excellent client service. The folks in the Service Center, Shaun Sarvis and Ruth Hiles, can handle any needs that might arise and are in constant contact with me if my help is needed.

My wife and I volunteer and serve with a number of community activities and we're extremely proud of the people in this part of the county.  Sometimes Harding County can seem a million miles from anywhere but, you know, sometimes that's good!
