About Us

I am Janette Neal. My great-grandparents homesteaded in the Roggen, Colorado area. Each generation has farmed the ground where I grew up. It is a heritage I am proud of and I now live within 10 miles of the Epple homestead.

My husband Glenn and I were married in 1980. Glenn and I own Gateway Realty here in Wiggins. We also have a large acreage mowing business. We have 4 children - Daniel married to Jennifer, Keith marrying Peggie in 2009, Troy and Jamie. Our pride and joy is our granddaughter, Brynn. We have two more grandchildren on the way this year. We are now empty nesters which is nice at times but our favorite times are with the kids playing games or relaxing together.

I have been with Baer Insurance for 14 years and have been taught by two remarkable agents. Ray Baer and his son Steve, who has now taken over the agency, have been great teachers and mentors to me. They taught me the deeper meaning of integrity, honesty and hard work in business. These concepts are not always what you think about when you hear the word "insurance" but in our office they are key.

I have had my agent's license since 2003 and was given the unique and great opportunity by QBE Farmers Union Insurance and Baer Insurance to be a licensed agent for them in June of 2007. Writing all lines of insurance has been a large part of my job so I am aware of coverages available that will fit your individual needs. Taking care of you as the customer once the policy is written is essential at Baer Insurance. You can have peace of mind we will be there for you at times of loss.

We carry farm, home, auto, and commercial & specialty lines such as watercraft, mobile homes & motorcycles. We also offer life and health insurance along with multi-peril crop insurance and crop hail insurance.
