Community Activities

Crookston has been my family home for over a quarter of a century - three children graduated from Crookston High School. We were a single parent family. All three children are college graduates.

I also have five grandchildren with one in college. The best gift you can give to children and grandchildren is your time and values.

Building a strong community includes being there for your neighbor in many ways:

• Member of Rotary Club and serving where needed
• Helping with Benefits to assist those in need
• Making quilts to raffle off
• Rummage Sales to help others
• Silent auctions to bless others
• Raking lawns for those who can not
• Giving rides to those without vehicles

I take time to keep life in balance and enjoy the children and grandchildren -- golfing with grandsons, canning with daughters and granddaughters, sewing tee shirt quilts for each grandchild as a graduating gift and to just enjoy hanging out together.

I am an active volunteer for my church and dedicate time to the Rotary Club, Gospel Sing Alongs, and being there for others.
