About Us

I grew up on our family farm 10 miles south of Valley City, where we raised small grains, row crops, cattle, swine and poultry. I attended Valley City High School where I participated in cross county, wrestling, track and baseball. After high school I attended Jamestown College and Bemidji State University in Bemidji, MN where I graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Physical Education and a minor in coaching.

Before working for QBE Farmers Union Insurance I taught high school Physical Education, Health and Drivers Education in Shiprock, New Mexico.

I have been married since 2000 and have three children.

I have lived in Minnesota, New Mexico, and Colorado before moving back to my hometown of Valley City in 2006.

Our Agency Team includes myself and:

• Tyler Van Bruggen - Tyler is married. He started in the agency in July of 2006.
   
• Sue Wetch- Customer Service Representative - Sue is married and has one son and one daughter. She began working for us in October of 2007.
