Community Activities

All three agents believe in giving back to the community that has given so much to them.  As an Agency, we are members of the Mandan Progress Organization and the Bismarck/Mandan Board of Realtors.  We are proud sponsors of the Mandan Rodeo, Buggies N Blues, and co-sponsored the new scoreboards in the Mandan Public High School.  North Dakota QBE Farmers Union also took over as the Premiere partner for the North Dakota High School Activities Association.

Dave Kary has been involved with the Big Brother Big Sister program of Bismarck/Mandan since 2002. (www.bismarck-mandanbbbs.org).  He recently was named as the 2008 Honor of Hope Awardee for the state of North Dakota for his work with the program and his "little brother" Gunner.  Gunner described Dave as "probably my best friend" and "He is a kind and caring man and gives me encouragement when I need it" in his nominating letter.

Jamie Ressler has been involved in giving back to his community since his high school years and continues that volunteerism today.  He is currently a member of the North Star Lions, and has been a member in Lions for 3 years.  He has been a state board member for North Dakota Leadership Seminar (www.ndleadership.org) since 2002, and this year has taken on the role of co-chairperson for the group.  Jamie is also a member of the Bismarck/Mandan Elks and the Bismarck-Mandan Young Professionals Network.

Dave Murphy is able to mix work and volunteering as well as spending time with his family.  Since 2001, Dave has been assisting with Mandan youth sports, including coaching in youth baseball and youth hockey.  He feels it is important to instill teamwork and good sportsmanship into today's youth and to help lead them into adulthood.
