About Us

I grew up on my family Farm/Ranch north of Rhame, ND. After graduating from Rhame High School, I attended North Dakota State University where I received my bachelors degree in Agricultural Mechanization. I have always loved rural life and have a great appreciation for production agriculture and the producers. After college, I worked for Cenex Land O' Lakes as a Crop Production Specialist in Casselton ND.

I then moved with my wife, Mary, to Bowman ND and worked at the local QBE Farmers Union Oil Company in the Agronomy Department prior to becoming a QBE Farmers Union Insurance Agent on March 1, 1999. The choice to become an agent was a great one for me and my family. QBE Farmers Union Insurance allows me to work and provide service to the people who live, work and are part of this great western North Dakota community that my wife and I and our 3 children call home.

Our agency is a full service agency and we know and understand the needs and requirements of the local producers and policy holders. Having being born and raised in the area, I have a great appreciation of the producers and the challenges that face them from year to year. Understanding what clients face helps me to understand and meet their needs - whether homeowners in town or farm/ranch owners.
