About Us

Mark Larson started the Northwood branch of QBE Farmers Union in 1980. Mark was introduced to the insurance business through crop adjusting in the summers while he had time off from teaching at Red River High School in Grand Forks ND.

Mark and his wife Ellen maintained the everyday activities of the Insurance office until 1998 when their son Nathan Larson started working at the office along with Mark. Nathan worked as a Customer Service Rep until 2002, at that time he was appointed as a full time agent with QBE Farmers Union Insurance.

In 2002, Troy Enger was then hired to work as the Customer Service Representative and worked in that position until January of 2009 when he was also appointed as a full time agent with QBE Farmers Union Insurance. With almost 50 years of combined experience in the insurance business Northwood Insurance Agency is ready to handle all of your insurance needs.
