We usually receive a call or a visit from one of our insured’s. We can make the initial contact with our claims office.

 

Then we follow up one week after claim has been filed. We make sure the process is working and going along smoothly. We like to make sure the claim is handled to our standards.
 

We have great relationships with our local adjusters and work closely with the claims department to make sure your claim is handled in a timely manner and the solution is fair.

When the misfortune of a loss occurs, it's comforting to know that your claim will be handled promptly and fairly, and that you are kept “in the loop.” That's what we're here for. To help you in a time of need and answer any questions you may have about your claim and the process.

1. What steps should I take if I am in auto accident?  Call the police. Obtain information, names, addresses, telephone #'s, and license #'s of all involved and any witnesses. Record as much information as you can and if you have a camera, take photos. Call your insurance agent or insurance company with your policy number and info.
 

2. What should I do if damage occurs to my home?  Call your insurance agent or insurance company ASAP with your policy number and as much information you have available. If your home is damaged to the extent that you cannot live there, ask if you have additional coverage for living expenses incurred for accommodations while repairs are being made. Always save all receipts and documents for these costs.
