About Us

I was born in Rolla, North Dakota, grew up on a farm in the area, and then moved to the Wimbledon area in 1972. I have been married to Sheila for 27 years and we have 3 children, Nick, Sadie and Tate. Sheila was born in Jamestown, North Dakota and grew up on a farm in the Kensal area. The first six years of our marriage we operated a dairy farm in the Kensal area. We still actively ranch running pasture calves in the summer months.

From 1986 until 2002 I worked for Stutsman County Correctional Center in Jamestown, North Dakota. My career with QBE Farmers Union Insurance started in October of 2002. I specialize in Farm Insurance and enjoy the agricultural community because of my farming background.

Lori Joos- Lori is married to Andy.  They farm south of Wimbledon and raised two boys and two girls on the farm. Lori has been with the agency since its inception. 

We are known for our modest demeanor and we take pride in our product knowledge.  The QBE Farmers Union Agency's presence within the community reaches much further than just insurance.   As an Agency we have helped with the following community projects
