About Us
Having been raised on a farm, working with farmers has been a natural thing for me. Starting with ASCS in 1977 as a fieldman, I enjoyed working with farmers on a daily basis.
This carried over in to the Insurance business as I started in 1981 with FCIC, as an agent and adjuster. In 1984, I began working in the same capacity with Rain and Hail Insurance Service. In 1989 I became a fieldman for Rain and Hail in eastern Kansas. I held this position for eight years, before deciding that middle management was not for me. I much preferred working directly with farmers.
I worked as a part time adjuster for Great American and RCIS for a couple of years, until Dwayne Thompson approached me about being a QBE Farmers Union Insurance agent. I started in 2000 and I have been enjoying working with people on an everyday basis.
