Community Activities

I grew up on a family farm in this area.  Most of my friends are from this area, and it is a good community to live in.  I enjoy helping people to improve their insurance programs.

Our family has farmed since I was a kid.  I remember helping to thrash wheat, put up silage or bale hay for neighbors.   I remember riding on the horse drawn trailer while dad was picking corn by hand.  He was very good at it.

Back then life was always about helping neighbors and working together.  I guess that is why I like this career as it allows me to continue to do that.

I enjoy teaching adult, high and junior high Sunday School classes at some of the local churches.  It is very gratifying to receive cards from students when they graduate thanking me for having an impact on their lives.  It makes the time spent well worth it.

I get the same feeling when I help a client through a loss, such as a fire,  I can assist in getting their claim handled promptly, courteously and make sure their life is back on track as quickly as possible.
