About Us

QBE Farmers Union Insurance Agency in Edgeley, ND was established as a new agency in 1959 by Floyd Fredenburg. His son, Reed Fredenburg, joined the agency in 1975. They were partners until Floyd's  retirement in 1982. Floyd passed away in 2008 at the age of 89. He was one of the pioneers that made QBE Farmers Union Insurance the company it is today. Reed retired in 2011.

In 1992 Reed was very lucky to hire Licensed CSR, Sandra Horsager. "Sandi", as we call her.  She and her husband Gary (both raised in Edgeley) have two daughters, Jennifer and Naomi; and are very proud grandpa and grandma to Alex and Aden. Sandi is a extremely helpful and a knowledgeable CSR and gives the best service to our clients.

In August of 2009, Tim Moch joined the agency as an agent here in Edgeley. Tim grew up on a dairy farm just north of Edgeley and graduated from Edgeley High School. After high school, Tim attended Jamestown college. He played four years of college football and graduated with a business administration degree with a concentration in financial planning.
