About Us

Blessed with a son in 1995, we began looking for a house in the country. We found Elizabeth CO, fell in love with its charm, made the move and have been very happy ever since!

Our son Douglas is now a teenager, and is an active student at Elizabeth High School. He enjoys basketball, baseball and fishing.

When not involved in work or community activities, I enjoy spending time entertaining family and friends, working a a youth leader, working on different crafts, watching football, and camping, just to name a few.

Elizabeth CO Insurance Agency

I never dreamed I would ever own my own business and an insurance agency never entered my mind. But in 2002 all that changed thanks to the training that agent Sheila Wakefield provided me. In July of 2005, Sheila offered me half of her agency when she was promoted to District Manager for the state of Wyoming.

During my years in business, it has always been my policy to ensure my clients excellent customer service, and that they know their feelings and needs matter to me. Every customer is much more than a policy number; they are families and lives to be protected. My agency recognizes your individual needs for security, and with utmost integrity, we do our best to assure those needs are met.

My agency is located in Elizabeth, CO on the corner of Banner Street and E. Kiowa Avenue (also known as Highway 86). The staff consists of myself and Linda, an experienced Customer Service Representative.

Linda Montgomery also lives in Elbert County, with her husband Michael and two daughters. She started with the agency last fall, and has twelve plus years experience in the insurance industry.  Her experience includes several years in an agency, as well as working in claims for several years. Besides work and family, Linda spends time as a mentor with the Elbert County Mentoring program, working with her horses, involved with AWANA through the church she attends, and scrap booking are just some of her "spare-time" activities.
