Our NFU Auto Glass Center is a comprehensive service that handles glass claims from the initial report through final billing.  By calling the toll free number you can report an auto glass claim 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and schedule an appointment with a reputable repair shop in our nationwide network of high-quality glass shops.  In most areas, chip repairs and glass replacement can be completed by a mobile service at your home or workplace.

CAPA Certified Auto Body Repair Parts
At FUI, we specify use of high-quality CAPA (Certified Auto Parts Association) or MQVP (Manufacturer's Qualification and Validation Program) certified parts on vehicles two model years or older.

Auto body repair parts meeting CAPA or MQVP specifications have been rated higher than the replacement parts produced by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) during blind tests conducted by the Collision Industry Conference.  CAPA and MQVP certified parts offer a safe, high-quality alternative to expensive OEM parts.  This promotes competition in the auto parts industry, which helps to keep the cost of auto repairs in line.

Approved Shop Access Program
In several of our markets, FUI has implemented our Approved Shop Access Program (ASAP) which enables us to offer our policyholders a timely, convenient and guaranteed method of having their damaged vehicles repaired by a high-quality auto body shop.  ASAP allows you to visit one of our agent-referred repair shops to obtain an estimate that is quality-controlled by our expert material damage staff.  During this visit you can schedule a repair appointment and the shop can order parts and make all the necessary arrangements to move the repair process along as quickly and conveniently as possible.  Your agent has access to an up-to-date roster of participating shops in their area.

Total Losses
When your vehicle sustains damages that make repair unfeasible or uneconomical, FUI responds by using independent third party valuation services to accurately evaluate the current market value of your vehicle.  These services rely on a nationwide database of vehicles obtained from dealer inventories and published used car advertisements.  Each vehicle valuation is drawn from a large statistical sample of vehicles and is specific to the model, equipment, condition, mileage and location of the loss vehicle.  Actual sales history and vehicles currently for sale in the specific market are used to support the valuation.  Each total loss valuation is reviewed for accuracy by our material damage staff before it is presented to you.

Catastrophe Claims
When a major storm hits, QBE Farmers Union Insurance responds quickly and efficiently by mobilizing a team of experienced material damage appraisers to the area.  We promote the use of quality, cost-effective paintless dent repair (PDR) for hail damaged vehicles.  PDR preserves the original finish of the vehicle and significantly reduces repair processing time.  WE have agreements with several PDR services that will travel to your area to provide high-quality, guaranteed repairs.
